Golf FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The golf course has 27 holes, 18 were opened in 1972 and the course was expanded and all but 3 holes were changed when it opened with 27 holes in 1996. The original course was designed by Allan J Kress and the new course by Dick Nugent with his son Tim Nugent. 

Yes, for a fee we sell small, medium or large buckets of range balls that can be hit on the range. We have high quality Taylor Made balls to help you improve your game. 

Along with the driving range Rolling Meadows has a large putting green, chipping green available for use at any time along with a 100 yard short hole with bunker behind the 19th green. 

We welcome children on the golf course and expect parents to be responsible for children to follow the rules of golf etiquette and safety while on the golf course. We offer child and junior rates 7 days a week.

Golfers can walk or take a cart to play. Non golfing friends or partners can walk along with the golfer, providing they do not play golf.

We do allow 5 golfers in a group, providing the group can keep up with the play in front of them. If they cannot, we will ask the group to split up into groups of 2 and 3. 

We cannot allow 6 golfers in one group no matter how fast they are. A group of 6 is of concern to other golfers on the property and not allowed. 

Tee times can be made 14 days in advance in person, via phone at 920-924-2424, online at our website or app. 

We ask that golfers cancel as early as possible before the tee time to allow others to fill that spot. We realize emergencies happen and ask for your cooperation the best you can. Golfers with a no show may be prohibited to make future tee times.

Yes, starting in 2026 we will work with Notefee to allow golfers to join a waitlist to be alerted if a opening occurs. 

We serve a bar and grill menu with burgers, brats, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and other appetisers and sides. We have snacks such as chips, candy bars and beef sticks. For beverages we have soda, gatorade, water, and many beers and fermented malt beverages. 

No, being owned and operated by FOnd du Lac County, State Laws do not allow the county to get a traditional liquor liscense. However we can sell beer and fermetned malt beverages / selzers such as Mikes Hard Lemonade, Arnold Palmer, White Claw and other tasty refreshing drinks. 

Yes, PGA Golf Professional Jeremiah Hoffmann provides lessons and also runs a ladies learn go golf series and our junior program.
